Following a rewarding 23-year career in the U.S. Air Force as a civil engineering officer managing complex global infrastructure and engineering operations, Matt Greene transitioned his passion for precision and leadership into the private sector. Today, Matt is the Founder and CEO of MAVericks Construction based in Colorado Springs.

MAVericks supports Federal Agencies and Prime Contractors with reliable, compliant construction services on active military installations uniquely backed by in-house Professional Engineering (P.E.) expertise.

MAVericks is an SBA Certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) with CMMC L1 Certification. We are veterans who bring initiative, adaptability, and unconventional problem-solving while remaining fully aligned with the customer’s mission.

Beyond delivering exceptional construction projects, MAVericks core mission is workforce development. We deliberately recruit, train, and mentor transitioning service members and their families—bridging the gap between military service and thriving civilian careers. As an OSHA-authorized construction trainer, Matt is committed to equipping MAVericks workforce with the skills and safety standards required to lead the industry.
